So sorry Julie, Darned RA. Try and take the pain killers regularly and keep the pain at bay as best you can. Wheatie bags and deep heat at the ready too.

Enjoy your break.

Well done julie , you havn,t let the beast beat you. Have a wonderful holiday with your family, & donte drive to fast. I exspect you will soon be on anti TNF & leaping around. I am just waiting to hear if Ive passed the second test, so more than sympathise with the increased pain, but it should give you a great das score, have fun Rose xx

Good for you, Julie, you go for it on the scooter. If it helps you to get out and about, that's definitely worth while.

Hi Julie

Been thinking about you and your family trip to Scarborough. Hope it is going/has gone well (lost track of time!) and you have been able to enjoy the break relatively pain free. Keep up with the pain killers, that's what they're for, and they will help keep the pain at bay.

In the meantime ... no shinning up flagpoles!

Take care

Looks like she went on the 7th for a couple of days so she will perhaps be returning soon. If not we may need to send out a search party ... chances are, as Doreen suggests, she could have scaled the south face of Scarborough Castle (possibly scooter in tow!). LOL

LOL LOL LOL Thank you all for thinking of me! We had a lovely time thanks. Julian has taken to making me wear leggings under the lime green chiffon when I am out with him - for the sake of decency. We went of a brilliant boat trip (yes - the captain was quite taken with the fact I had my own sparkly life jacket). The boat had a flag pole though so Julian tethered me to the funnel while he went to get drinks with Jim. I did't mind though as it was lovely and warm.

I had forgotten how lovely it can be in Scarborough and the fact that the sun was shining all the second day made it even better. Jim thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't want to come home. It's so nice that he can do calmer things now he is a bit older. We spent a good few hours just sitting on the harbour trying to catch crabs (got 2).ThumpUp

Hi Julie,

Glad you had a good time. I have some lovely memories of Scarborough from when I was little.

Not sure about the leggings though, what's wrong with the thongs?RollEyes

And keep an eye on those crabs!LOL

Hi Julie

You're back!! There goes an adventure to Scarborough so better call off the search party Doreen!

Sounds as though you had a fab time and a bit of much needed relaxation. Good to hear Julian kept you on a tight leash there was plenty of scope for climbing and who knows what the outcome might have been! Tethered to a funnel eh?RollEyes Well whatever rocks your boat!
